About Me
Hi, I’m Chris! I’m an experienced guitarist of over 10 years, during which time I’ve played in a variety of bands, performed extensively, written songs, recorded both for myself and on others’ creations, taught students, and most importantly practiced my skills! In June 2021, I completed my RGT Grade 8 electric guitar exam, a goal I’d had since the very start. I’m currently studying a degree in Commercial Music at Bath Spa University, where I’ve been lucky to have met and played alongside some immensely talented people.Though the first songs I remember loving were by The Beatles, I got bitten by the guitar bug when I heard the sounds Eric Clapton got out of his Stratocaster. I’ve since learned to love and play a variety of music, from blues, to britpop and indie rock, through to metal, grunge, classic rock n’ roll, and much more. For an idea of what I’m spinning currently, check out my monthly Spotify playlist below!

In early 2022 I joined the Bath-based alternative rock band K. Eleison. Follow us on social media to hear about our gigs and upcoming releases!
Colliding and juxtaposing grunge rawness with poetic folk and the precision of progressive rock, K. Eleison are a trans-fronted, electrifying and emotive alternative rock band for the politically tired, heartbroken and grieving.
My new band, Cage Dive, is in the early stages of becoming something very exciting. Below are links to Cage Dive's social media, so you can stay informed on what we're cooking up!

Over the years, I've played in lots of bands, ranging from indie rock covers to my former progressive metal band, Cast Blue. Additionally, I've recorded and performed with a variety of artists, both in studio sessions and as a sideman or stand-in guitarist in a live setting. Whatever the style or gig, I always endeavour to deliver a fitting and compelling performance.
